Bluestem Acres Equine Services
All the horses at Bluestem Acres are rescues. We either purchased them from the slaughter pipeline, accepted direct placement of a horse in need in partnership with a 501c3 organization or adopted them from a reputable equine rescue. Helping horses in need was the beginning of our small business, and although we've grown to a point now that we can't help as many, we are so glad for the ones we have here. Special Events
From birthday parties to "grandma camp" day we have a few special offerings.
Riding Lessons
From private individual lessons to the small group, we can accommodate a large variety of riders. Our lessons focus on beginning skills, with a fun and relaxed environment.
Guided Trail Rides
Need that "fantastic date idea" or just want to have fun with a close friend, a trail ride on our seasoned mounts at an area park might be just the thing!
"Pony" Camp
We offer a week of 1/2-day camps for youth a few times each summer with crafts, equine education, professional demonstrations, and of course, riding!
