"Guided" Trail Rides

Are you looking for that "perfect" couples activity or just want to spend time with a close friend? A "guided" trail ride might be just the thing you're looking for. We say "guided" because we don't really claim to be trail guides, full of knowledge about the wildlife and vegetation along the trails... we do have some excellent horses though and are happy to share them with you for an afternoon ride. The trail locations listed below are all "easy going" trail locations without much non-equestrian traffic. Pawnee Prairie Park, in Wichita, is another location, but riders should have more experience in order to be prepared for all the "scary" (to horses) things we could come upon at that location, and be able to encourage a horse across possible water crossings or bridges.
We recommend, and can bring horses to a few different trail locations in Kansas - one each for you and a friend, plus one or two for our experienced handlers/guides. Participants must be able to mount a horse from a short mounting block or the ground, and be comfortable sitting in a saddle for two hours. Participants will be encouraged to assist in grooming and tacking of their mounts. Participants must wear provided safety gear (helmet) regardless of prior level of experience with horses. Participants can either ride in our vehicle to the trailhead or meet us at the trailhead.
Pricing: The price shown below includes travel to & from the trailhead, time at the trailer and 2 hours ride time
